The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) annual show features a new conference track called Telepresence World, which, as the name implies, is all about telepresence (see the "Learn about Telepresence" videos in the "Learn the Basics" menu of this site). The show's organizers have asked Theo Economides to present a telepresence primer session, titled "Understanding the Basics: Presence Infrastructure & Architecture."

The NAB Show is the largest and most esteemed conference in the broadcast and audiovisual industry. Originally focused primarily on the needs of the broadcast industry, as broadcasting has transitioned to digital, so the show has shifted its scope to include digital media in all forms - including interactive digital audio and video (read: videoconferencing and telepresence).
